功能语言学视域下英语学术语言能力的建构与发展

摘要

功能语言学作为一种以意义为中心的语言理论,自20世纪70年代以来日益受到语言学界的关注,并逐渐被引入英语作为外语教学领域。它强调语言不仅仅是形式规则的集合,更是一种在特定语境中实现交际和构建意义的资源。与侧重于形式分析的传统语法教学模式相比,功能语言学提供了一个更全面的视角,关注语言形式与功能的紧密结合。本文旨在论证功能语言学原理为英语语言教学提供了坚实的理论框架和实用的教学工具,尤其是在提升学习者的学术语言能力方面。通过探究其核心概念及其在教学实践中的应用,本文将展示功能语言学如何促进学生更深层次地理解和有效地运用英语。
